Our courses, presented by Deacon’s Solar and Plumbing, are designed to provide comprehensive training in solar hot water systems and heat pumps. Training sessions are held at Lesedi Skills Academy, conveniently located at 9 Novell Building, Corner Neil Hare and John Dreyer Street, Atlantis, Cape Town.

Each course is structured into two key segments:

1.Theoretical Component,

The theory segment is conducted in a classroom environment, where learners gain a strong foundational understanding of solar and heat pump systems. This portion includes:

• In-depth learning materials covering system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Summative and Formative assessments to ensure knowledge retention and comprehension.

2. Practical Component,

Hands-on experience is essential for mastering solar and heat pump installations. The practical training takes place on-site at Lesedi Skills Academy, where learners will:

• Install solar geysers and collectors, gaining real-world experience in system setup.
• Fit heat pumps to geysers, understanding the key principles of heat pump operation and integration.

By the end of the course, learners will have both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to confidently work with solar geysers and heat pump systems in real-world applications.
